Monosodium glutamat

Nemam pojma gdje da ovo stavim pa kacim ovdje.
RAdi se o (opet :roll: ) o monosodium glutamatu. Sad sam citala jednu stariju temu u kojoj se spominje vegeta. I vidim da neki kupuju alternativu vegeti tipa kocke za juhu od Alnature i slicno. Misleci da unutra nema, bogom nam danog pojacivaca okusa monosodium glutamata. Pa sam otvorila temu kako bi okacila listu naziva pod kojim se msg krije u hrani.

The new game is to label hydrolyzed proteins as pea protein, whey protein, corn protein, etc. If a pea, for example, were whole, it would be identified as a pea. Calling an ingredient pea protein indicates that the pea has been hydrolyzed, at least in part, and that processed free glutamic acid (MSG) is present. Relatively new to the list are wheat protein and soy protein.
Disodium guanylate and disodium inosinate are expensive food additives that work synergistically with inexpensive MSG. Their use suggests that the product has MSG in it. They would probably not be used as food additives if there were no MSG present.

MSG reactions have been reported to soaps, shampoos, hair conditioners, and cosmetics, where MSG is hidden in ingredients that include the words "hydrolyzed," "amino acids," and "protein."

Low fat and no fat milk products often include milk solids that contain MSG.

Drinks, candy, and chewing gum are potential sources of hidden MSG and of aspartame and neotame. Aspartic acid, found in neotame and aspartame (NutraSweet), ordinarily causes MSG type reactions in MSG sensitive people. Aspartame is found in some medications, including children's medications. Neotame is relatively new and we have not yet seen it used widely. Check with your pharmacist.

Binders and fillers for medications, nutrients, and supplements, both prescription and non-prescription, enteral feeding materials, and some fluids administered intravenously in hospitals, may contain MSG.

According to the manufacturer, Varivax–Merck chicken pox vaccine (Varicella Virus Live), contains L-monosodium glutamate and hydrolyzed gelatin both of which contain processed free glutamic acid (MSG) which causes brain lesions in young laboratory animals, and causes endocrine disturbances like OBESITY and REPRODUCTIVE disorders later in life. It would appear that most, if not all, live virus vaccines contain MSG.

Reactions to MSG are dose related, i.e., some people react to even very small amounts. MSG-induced reactions may occur immediately after ingestion or after as much as 48 hours.

ja sam dobro pogledala alnaturinu juhu u staklenoj tegli. i u njoj nema nicega sto si ti navela.

ma kupis od kotanyja suseno povrce za juhu, u njemu nema niceg osim susenog povrca (persin, celer, mrkva, pasternak...)

otvoris i pomirisis - vegeta. a nije vegeta :)

ako ti treba prah - sameljes i dodajes hrani...

nama je suuuupeeeer. i moze se dodati svugdje. nema soli, nema dodataka ni opasnosti ako pretjeras ;)

alnaturine kocke stvarno sadrze ekstrakt kvasca koji je na gornjem spisku, kao sto ga sadrze valjda svi `zdravi` polugotovi proizvodi. ja sam nekako u alnaturu imala povjerenja, ali izgleda da ni oni nisu imuni. koristim nekad i zrnetu, mislim da je to stvarno samo povrce. u svakom slucaju, zorana i litala hvala za informacije.

sto se tice ekstrakta kvasca trebalo bi razmotriri sto znaci:

a kottany od litale isto zvuci suvislo.

seni, sta moze znaciti ekstrakt kvasca? ja sam to samo doslovno prevela. daj molim te pojasni, ne kuzim sta si htjela reci.

htjela sam reci da u prvoj listi pise: uvijek (always) sadrzavaju m. glutamate.

na drugoj listi stoji: sadrze cesto (often) m g.
sto znaci cesto pitanje je sad?

na drugoj listi stoji malt extract. to bi bio u prevodu extrat kvasca. njega u principu ima u nekim namirnicama u bio ducanima.
znam da neki ne podnise taj ekstrat (recimo oni koji imaju problema sa candidom), pa ovdje u austriji ima i kocaka na kojima extra pise da su bez tog extrakta.
vise ne znam, ali mozda se javi davor. on bi mogao vise znati.

ali seni, yeast extract je ekstrakt kvasca i on je na lisi ALWAYS

vilma sad sam zbunjena. ja sam mislila na malz extrat, a to je mislim extrat pivskog kvasca. morat cu malo pregledati rjecnike, pa javim ako budem pametnija.
