Evo nadjoh nesto inform. od US korisnika;
I get my dd's d-mannose from Key Pharmacy, 1-800-878-1322. It IS an over the counter med, so you don't need a prescription. We did originally have a prescription from a naturopath, but when it expired I decided to just pay the sales tax (no tax if a prescription) rather than cough up to see the naturopath again (our insurance doesn't cover naturopaths...). The d-mannose we get is manufactured by Bio-tech Pharmacal Inc. We get 100 gram bottles, at .90 grams per 1/2 teaspoon. My dd takes 1/4 teaspoon four times daily. I don't think you'll find it at your local health food store, though I've seen cranberry extracts. I think when I was researching d-mannose a couple years ago, I found the website to Bio-tech, and, if I'm remembering correctly, the d-mannose came in varying strengths - but could be wrong. I don't know if there are other manufacturers or not. My dd's pediatrician at the time was willing to work with us on trying the d-mannose, but did not do any of the information seeking. It was up to us to see the naturopath and bring her the info - which was fine with me! Do you have a naturopath you can consult with? The naturopath we saw also recommended 1) acidopholous 2x daily, 2) low sugar intake, including fruit juices, 3) plenty of fluids. If you get a naturopath to back you up before you see the pediatrician, it all might go over better. I think I gave you the details of other checks we've done to make sure we weren't missing infections - monthly pee samples, etc. If you search the web under d-mannose, you should come up with a lot of info. for your dr (and self!)
Cini mi se da se isplati probati sa ovom vrstom profilaxe
