našla sam i ovo:

-I have a pretty strange question. I need to gain weight, not lose it. Is there anything I can take to help me safely put on a few pounds?

-Almost every patient I've had that couldn't gain weight had malabsorption or poor digestion. It's funny; whether I'm treating weight loss or weight gain, the same start seems to help both.

An overweight person doesn't adequately break down foods in order to burn them properly, so they are quickly reverted to storage. The underweight person seems not to break down the foods they eat well enough to get the nutrients needed for structural weight gain. Even the sugar they consume seems to be used for energy only (and sometimes there's not a lot of that!).

Therefore, the first thing to try for safe gain is digestive enzymes, something similar in dosage to Super Enzyme by TwinLab. Check the labels to assure they are complete, or 'full-spectrum.' This means they help breakdown proteins, fats, and starches. Take one or two right after meals.

Another basic element of improving digestion is making sure to eat slowly and chew thoroughly, until the food is like soup. Digestion does not start in the stomach; it starts in the mouth. Don't let this first stage slip by! If you swallow a large chunk of food, there's an excellent chance you'll excrete it in the same form.

As for what you eat, you need to stop feeding your body empty calories that are impossible for your body to use productively. No. 1: Get off sugar! And No. 2: Kick the white flour habit! Breads and pastas and cereals that are from refined flour and grains, instead of 100% whole and unrefined, are starches that break down to refined sugar without the nutrients for the utilization of those calories. The key here is nutrient density. If the food is not messed with by Man, it has all the nutrients within itself for the assimilation of that food.

Therefore, no junk food is allowed, either. Start eating whole grain everything: bread, pasta and cereals. Add fresh nuts and seeds too.

Try this for one month and see how it goes (and try not to check your weight in the meantime, or at least no more than once per week)
