Apple Puree
•2 large cooking apples, peeled, decored and diced
•juice of 1/4 lemon
•80g caster sugar
•4 tbsp water
Method
1.Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and place the pan over a moderate heat. Stir the mixture with a wooden spoon until the sugar. Leave the apple to cook for 10-15 minutes stirring it occasionally until it has collapsed into a smooth puree. Allow the apple puree to cool before using.
