slicno) i to na jako dobrim sveucilistima?

obrazovanje poslije recimo desete, jedanaeste godine?

rad u maloj Home ed grupi s tutorom

ili razliciti fakulteti ili znanstvene institucije

neki koledzi imaju funding za txv outreach programme, dakle da izadju u zajednicu; organiziraju nastavu iz recimo fizike, a otvorena je za javnost (u ovom slucaju koji znam za home ed djecu)

upis u further education college (16+) koji imaju znanstveni program, polaganje ispita (A levels) na kraju godine

Na visoj razini obrazovanja, 16+ uci se drugacije i unutar ovdasnjih skola; pristup je taj da je ucitelj facilitator, a student nezavisan u ucenju, sposoban evaluirati i analizirati informativno znanje.

Pretpostavka je da znajuci kako koristiti resurse, informacije su uvijek dostupne a kvaliteta koja se najvise vrednuje (na ispitu) je sposobnost analize i evaluacije

Home educators at the Royal Institution


We welcome home educators to participate in the schools programme at the Royal Institution.
Our popular programme of demonstration events operate during school term times, and tickets are available through our events calendar. We charge a small ticket fee to minimise non-attendance and we invest ticket income into the events that we put on. Our programme is primarily aimed at school audiences, and as such is optimised for them in terms of content and style, but many home educators benefit from attending.

Our Young Scientist Centre also runs sessions especially for home educators. If you are part of a home educators collective, please email ysc@ri.ac.uk for more information. Individual home educators wishing to find out more information about the Young Scientist Centre can register on our website or email ysc@ri.ac.uk to register your interest.

Home educators can also visit our museum. Our eGuides offer themed tours around the exhibition to bring the stories of the people and objects of the Ri to life.
We also have a wealth of learning resources available for use at home.

Ageing has long been viewed by most people as somehow different from diseases - somehow inaccessible, even in principle, to medical intervention. We are now approaching the point where we can finally show that this is a misconception. Ageing is merely a set of precursors of the diseases and disabilities of old age: a set of side- effects of normal metabolism that accumulate throughout life and eventually impair and overwhelm our biology. Regenerative medicine is the medicine of the 21st century: with stem cells, gene therapy and other techniques, including ones that are much less well known, we will be able to repair diseased and disabled bodies with increasing effectiveness.

In this talk, Aubrey explains that ageing is no exception: regenerative medicine for aging is coming, and it promises to bring aging under the same degree of medical control that we have today for most infectious diseases. 90% of Westerners die of aging, but within just a few decades we may be able to prevent all those deaths - and the ill-health and suffering that precedes them.
