Well, with the AIO’s – they are difficult. If you have a heavy wetter, they are probably not the best choice because you cannot add additional absorbency. The swaddlebees AIO’s have a pocket opening so you can add a bit, but the pocket opening is narrow so you cannot add much. The new batch will be wider – I should have those in about a week or so. The fabric on the top is velour and if it is not washed several times prior to use it can repel fluid and people may have experience leaks with them if they didn’t wash several times prior to use.

I usually don’t recommend AIO’s for heavy wetters though.

Yes, inserts are necessary for pockets – and sometimes more than one for a heavy wetter. That is the nice thing about pockets - you can add absorbency if you need to. You shouldn’t need to buy additional inserts though from the US. You can really fold up anything that is absorbent and put in them. So, if you find that one insert isn’t enough – you could get a small towel or flat/prefolded cloth diaper and use that as well.

I would avoid Happy heiny’s prints – they do leak.
